i pulled my injector bodies out of intake to send to spud to be flowed..when i did this i noticed that a few of them the threads looked bad...i already have intake and blower bolted on engine..can i run a tap into intake and clean up holes before i attemp to reinstall injector bodies without taking blower and intake off engine or will the cleaning threads put to much aluminum shavings into engine and hurt it?

If you put grease on the tap that will minimize any debris that falls into the intake. I would ordinarilly advise using a tread chaser rather than a tap in aluminum but your only choice is a tap for NPT.
